DESCRIPTION:Duration\n7.5 hours in-class OR 4.5 hours in-class + 4 hours online learning \n*Online learning time will vary depending on the learner \nEmergency First Aid CPR and AED is a basic one-day course offering an overview of First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills when done in class alone\, for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home \nLearn for your knowledge or complete the requirement for most jobs. It also adds a skill to your resume. \nOur Emergency First Aid course gives you the luxury of completing course online instead of a class room at your own pace and once you complete online part of our course\, we will schedule your in class hands on training to complete your certification. It includes the latest First Aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. \nAs a result it exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content\, CPR and AED \n  \nCOMPLETION\n\nSuccessfully demonstrate skills and critical steps\nMin. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation\nAttend and participate in 100% of the course\n\n  \nCERTIFICATION\n\n3 year certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR Level A or C\n\n  \nRE-CERTIFICATION\n\nCPR C: 5 hours in-class OR 4 hours in-class + 4 hours - online learning\n\n  \nCOURSE CONTENT\n\nThe Red Cross\nPreparing to respond\nThe EMS system\nCheck\, Call\, Care\nAirway emergencies\nBreathing and Circulation emergencies\nFirst aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest\nWound care\n\nIncludes opioid poisoning awareness information \nIncludes any other content required by specific legislation \nA 60-minute Opioid Poisoning Awareness Workshop can be added to this course.
