Basic / Emergency First Aid CPR and AED is a basic one-day course offering an overview of First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills when done in class alone, for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home
Learn for your knowledge or complete the requirement for most jobs. It also adds a skill to your resume.
Our Emergency First Aid course gives you the luxury of completing course online instead of a class room at your own pace and once you complete online part of our course, we will schedule your in class hands on training to complete your certification. This course is a must-have, as it meets the requirements for the Federal or Provincial Authority Having Jurisdiction over first aid training for the workplace. Additionally, the course content meets the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standard Z1210 for Basic first aid training. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. A 60-minute Opioid Poisoning Awareness Workshop can be added to this course. In this workshop, participants will learn how they can help prevent death and disability by recognizing, accessing help, and providing care for a suspected opioid poisoning.
